There were so many edgy and memorable makeup looks at the 2015 VMAs, but, as usual, the Kardashian's reigned supreme. Kim Kardashian used the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette to get her stunning brown, shadowy look — guess she's just as obsessed with the newest UD launch as the rest of us.
Want to steal Kimmy's look? Well, you definitely can. It's super easy and, thanks to a press release, I have the rundown of every product makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic used to create her smoldering, sultry, and ultimately bronzy look.
In addition to that awesome smoky eye, the reality TV queen wore her thick, glossy locks swept off her face, slicked back for that sexy wet look she likes. That way, her smoldering and bronzed smoky eyes could take center stage, even when paired with her bronzed skin.
Believe it or not, this makeup look was completed with only seven products. That's streamlined for Kim, and totally achievable for any normal gal.
All these elements came together to form a gorgeous, "new but not too different" Kim! It was familiar while understated and gorge. Here are the steps that brought together Kim's entire makeup look.
1. Foundation
It was the perfect product to enhance her already existent glow! You can shimmer, too, thanks to Urban Decay's super light yet effective foundation.

2. Blush
Dedivanovic added the peachy blush onto the apples to further increase Kim's healthy glow.

4. Smoky Eye
Her MUA highlighted the browbone and inner corner with shade High in the Naked Smoky palette, which is a rose gold shade with shimmer. He then blended the bronzy Radar on the lid and lower lashline.

5. Eyeliner
All smoky eyed looks require a black liner along the lash and inner waterline, so Dedivanovic rimmed Kim's eyes with the smudgy and inky liner. FYI, that's one of my go-to black liners. It never fails me when I want punk rock eyes.

6. Mascara
The artist topped off her lashes with a swipe of mascara, which is always necessary.

7. Lips
As for her lips, well, Kim is known for her glossy nude pucker. For the VMAs, she elected a matte, more painted version of her beloved nude.
