Ciara Debuts Bob Haircut At 2015 VMAs

Is it really a red carpet if no one shows up with a dramatic new haircut? Well, thank goodness we have Ciara at the 2015 MTV VMAs! The singer/dancer/total babe showed off her intense chop, trading in her flowy waves for a rich, flipped-under, shoulder-length bob — after she snapped a few selfies, naturally.

It looks like the lob is not over and the super-sleek look totally works on her. It would be impossible for Ciara to look anything less than stunning, though. Will she pull a Katie Holmes at The Met Gala and go back to her long look shortly after the awards or has she gone short for good? We'll have to wait and see, but I'm dying to see her rock this look a little longer.

She walked the red carpet in an equally dramatic fringed and slashed black dress (and matching sandals) with oblong gold beads that added the perfect amount of shimmer. It looks like black fringe is definitely trending this fall and Ciara's dress is such a stylish, sophisticated take.

This look was, perhaps, unsurprising for those fans who follow her on Instagram, where she flashed back to one of her favorite VMA looks — a Versace gown with white fringe with silver accents.
