Here's something delightful for your Friday listening and viewing pleasure: In what might just be the most epic reception move ever, Orlando newlyweds Robert Ly and Theresa Chan shot a one-take wedding music video — and it's truly, truly incredible. Not only did they surprise all 250 of their guests with the mission to shoot the video only 10 minutes before they starting filming it, but even more impressive is that they managed to do it in all one take. I don't know about you, but I'll be following this couple for creative life tips for a good long while; their music video is certainly excellent inspiration for what I hope to happen at my own later on (except in my version, all the songs will be Britney Spears).
Of course, this isn't the only notable mashup we've seen recently; others have included DJ Earworm's famous, annual "United States of Pop," Megan Davies' "See You Again / Love Me Like You Do / Sugar," which got over 11 million views in a matter of a few months, and Louisa Wendorff and Devin Dawson's beautiful Taylor Swift mashup of "Blank Space" and "Style." But that doesn't stop this latest one from being any cuter!
Like DJ Earworm's mashup videos, Chan and Ly's wedding music video includes what seems like every single hit song of our time, appropriately starting with "Love Is an Open Door" from Frozen. While it's true that "Love Is an Open Door" loses some if its charm later on when you learn the truth about one of its characters, it's still kind of adorable — and with Ly and Chan lip syncing it?
