Seriously, the singer, actress, and former love of Justin Bieber's life looked like a legit businesswoman. No schlubby travel attire here! It's as though her BFF Taylor Swift, known for her classic looks, is rubbing off on Sel a little.
While the pantsuit can be a bit tricky and "mature" for someone as young as Gomez to pull off, she actually loves the silhouette and wears it quite a bit. The often body positive Gomez keeps things young via her details. That's important so she can avoid looking frumpy or not age appropriate in a pantsuit.
For this classy ensemble, the style maven paired satin Givenchy blouse with pants by Cushnie et Ochs. She came across as someone who could hold an executive position at a Fortune 500 company with this monochromatic look, which had depth due to the contrasting textures of the fabrics.
In this case, the loose construction and the flash of cleavage allowed the ensemble to be sexy. Also, it wasn't a literal pantsuit, since it was two separate pieces. But it had the same effect.
