As a Millennial, I have amassed quite a collection of '90s pajamas featuring my favorite cartoon characters. I just love to have a bath and then get into jammies. Although adulthood definitely has its perks — alchohol, no bedtimes, no curfews — it also has its drawbacks. One of mine, which I'm sure I'm not alone in, is a lack of cool '90s-inspired pajamas. Quite frankly, there's nothing as enjoyable come bedtime as getting all dolled up in Mickey Mouse or Ariel.
Back in the day, I would always get so excited when attending a slumber party. I'd gorge on junk food and fizzy drinks, stay up until stupid o'clock in the morning with my friends, and mentally compare all of our pajama sets. Winnie the Pooh sets were quite commonplace among my friends and I vaguely remember seeing some Barbie PJs. But IMO, the most awesome sets belonged to my best friend, who would go abroad to Florida each year and bring back the coolest Hot Topic pajamas for all us British kids to gawk in awe at.
