Extreme hair changes, especially when going from long to short or from shorter to a lot shorter, are jarring. While she has been rocking a short, pixie-like coif for a while now, singer and actress Jennifer Hudson shaved her head and her new 'do is unbelievably gorgeous. It's easily her most stunning look ever, in my opinion.
Hudson has cycled through a variety of hair lengths, having rocked thick, long locks throughout her career as an American Idol contestant, a solo artist, and an Oscar winner. Her long hair was luxurious; her short hair was chic. But none stood out like this! The new 'do is daring, confident, and sexy. The multi-talented Hudson has always been stunning, but with such a close-cropped 'do, she looks like a supermodel.
Going this short with her hair can be as exciting as it is emotionally taxing when growing it out! But it truly allows her features, namely her #onfleek eyelashes, her expressive eyes, and sumptuous lips, to be the sole focus of her face. There is nothing to hide her beauty.
I have to hand it to her. As someone who values my long hair as a protective shield, this short cut is the equivalent of being naked. But J. Hud wears it well. I hope she keeps it and doesn't resort to covering it up with extensions or wigs.
