How Did Khloé Kardashian & James Harden Meet?

James Harden is a 25-year-old NBA player who just signed an insanely baller (literally) deal with Adidas for $200 million. He's also maybe Khloé Kardashian's new boyfriend, so his life is about to get even wilder than it already is. Kardashian and Harden have been spotted a few times together over the summer, which, of course, has led to a lot of jumped-to-conclusions that they are soon to be wed. Kardashian just finalized her divorce from Lamar Odom, so if she's moving on in a healthy way, cheers to her! The reality star hasn't confirmed anything about a relationship with the Houston Rockets player yet, but if they are dating, how did Khloé Kardashian and James Harden meet?

Even though Kardashian has friends in the NBA, it seems that they actually met through Kanye West. OK, so they met through a combination of Kanye and the NBA.

If you're a part of the Kardashian-Jenner superfam, birthdays are no small event, and Yeezus experienced that firsthand in June of this year when he turned 38. Kim Kardashian proved she is an amazing gift-giver when she rented out the entire Staples Center for her husband so he and his friends could ball in peace and privacy.

There were also some special guests. A few friends/basketball superstars were in attendance, one of them being James Harden, who coached the pickup games. Also at the game were NBA players John Wall and Russell Westbrook, and Yeezy's friends Pusha T., Tyga, and bizarrely, Justin Bieber. And the surprise only cost $110,000! Clearly Kim's love language is gifts. Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner tagged along for the fun, as well as Kardashian's best friend Malika Haqq. The 31-year-old documented the event for her social media fans whom she apparently wanted to make incredibly jealous:

Since Kanye's birthday party, Kardashian and Harden have been seen a few times together, including in Las Vegas over Fourth of July weekend, along with their mutual friends former NBA player Rick Fox, Jermaine Dupri (what I wouldn't give to be friends with Jermaine), and Haqq. On Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Haqq often gives Kardashian tough love about her love life, and once said, "It's been very difficult for me to watch her engage and break up in relationships, so I've become very protective of her." I guess if James Harden is Kardashian's new beau (or is trying to woo her) and Haqq approves, then that's good news.

Whether he's her boyfriend or not, Kardashian obviously likes him, because she invited him to another family function with her kooky Kardashian-Jenners. Harden attended Kylie Jenner's extreme graduation celebration in late July, and he was also seen with Kardashian at Jenner's 18th birthday party earlier this week. I don't know what he brought as a gift, but it probably paled in comparison to her new Ferrari.

One thing is for sure, of all of Kardashian's dudes, James Harden has the best beard. Plus, it looks like her sisters approve and, obviously, Kanye does too. I'm sorry, James Harden, you've got the world's eyes on you more than ever now.
