Lamar Odom's DUI Punishment Is Here

Lamar Odom and wife Khloe Kardashian have had a rough year. Mainly because of Lamar Odom. And his rumored raging drug problem. Oh, and that DUI thing. We wouldn't blame Kardashian if she's spent all of 2013 facepalming over her husband's antics. Now, Lamar Odom's got three years probation for that aforementioned DUI.

Those three years of probation came from a judge in a Van Nuys court on Monday, who also decreed that the basketball player pay a small fine ($390 plus penalties, which is chump change to the Kardashians who probably spend that much on concealer on the weekly). He also has to take part in an alcohol program set to last three months.

We actually feel worse for him about the fact that he had to spend his day in a Van Nuys courtroom, because folks, we've been to Van Nuys, and we do not want to go back. This is why you don't drink and drive, folks.

Odom's driver's license was suspended, which is, you know, a logical and fair response to somebody driving under the influence. It helps that he's rich, though, because instead of taking those Van Nuys busses (once again: D+, would not recommend), he can probs just hire a chauffeur and be amongst the fanciest of the DUIers in Los Angeles.

Honestly, though, we do wish the best to him should be commit to his recovery. Everyone in that situation deserves better.
