'Jem And The Holograms' Second Trailer Is Here!

With more than two months until it hits theaters, the Jem and the Holograms movie is already promising to be all sorts of amazing. (I mean, it already has two beauty lines!) The movie's second trailer is here and it reinforces that this movie is going to be awesome.

The biggest highlight of the new trailer is that we're introduced to Synergy, a robot that's the updated version of the holographic computer from the original series. In the cartoon, Synergy turns Jerrica Benton into the rock star known as Jem. The second preview also show us Juliette Lewis' character, a record executive who wants Jerrica to go solo. (Because isn't that always a plot point in movies about aspiring bands?)

While fans have had mixed reactions to the Jem and the Holograms trailer, I think that the trailer gives every indication that the updated, live-action movie will be just as great at the cult-favorite TV show. (And not just because the trailer includes One Direction's "Story of My Life.") It has the heart, the cooler-than-cool clothes and catchy music of the original series. Still not sold on the movie?
