Kim Defends Her Body With Gorgeous Nude Selfie

I don't care what the haters say. Kim Kardashian is awesome, and one of her latest Instagram posts proves why. Ever since Kim first announced she's pregnant with her second child with Kanye West, she's had to deal with all kinds of ridiculous comments and accusations that no other excited expectant mother would have to deal with. From day one, Kim has faced with rumors that she's faking her pregnancy, and if you're in the camp that believed she was making the whole thing up, that rumor comes to an end right now. On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian shut down haters with a nude Instagram photo that leaves nothing to the imagination — her baby bump included.

In the photo, Kim's totally naked as she's taking a mirror selfie from the side. It's very obvious that she is almost six months pregnant. There's no denying it: Kim is carrying her own child. In terms of disproving rumors, there's no way she could have done it better.

Even better than the photo is her caption, which explains why she posted the photo in the first place. And it's not like she's dropping any major truth bombs here. This is all information that most people know: When you're photographed in the morning, when you're fresh from the shower and have yet to eat breakfast, you tend to look smaller in photos. At the end of the day when you've been eating (for two!) all day long, you usually won't look as small. This applies to everyone, not just pregnant women. In addition, Kim notes that if she was using a surrogate, we would know. And she's right! Kim documented her struggles with becoming pregnant on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, so why wouldn't she show the reality behind surrogacy on the show, too?

I'm glad that she's rising above the hate and standing up for herself, but honestly, she shouldn't have to. Her only responsibilities right now are to:

• Be Kim Kardashian
• Stroke Kanye's ego
• Continue dressing North West as stylishly as possible
• INCUBATE THAT BABY

Notice how "sending haters to the left" is not on that list?

Kim received an astounding amount of negativity while she was pregnant with North West, so it's not surprising to find that it's returned, even though it is disappointing. And hopefully, for the next few months, her excitement to meet her new baby will overpower any more negativity that heads her way.

I realize that Kim Kardashian is not everyone's cup of tea, but can we give the lady a break? She waited forever for this pregnancy to become a reality, and like she's said many times before, it's going to be her last one. She deserves support right now, not criticism for how her body carries her baby — and that's not something she should have to ask for.
