Tenley Had A Rough Time On 'The Bachelor'

Most of this year's Bachelor in Paradise cast comes from the most recent seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, but there are a few Bachelor Nation stars hanging out on the beach in Mexico who have been around the Bach block a time or two. One of them? New Bachelor in Paradise star Tenley Molzahn, a lady I can't believe is still single. Between her appearances on The Bachelor and Bachelor Pad, it's hard to imagine that she hasn't found love yet, especially considering what a catch she is. But, she hasn't exactly had the easiest time on my favorite reality franchise, so maybe that has something to do with it. In case you're fuzzy on the details or haven't been watching the show that long, let me fill you in. What happened to Tenley on The Bachelor ? Um, a lot of things.

The basics: Tenley competed on Jake Pavelka's season of the show back in 2010, and she was the runner up to Vienna Girardi. Like most Bachelor breakups, hers was pretty brutal, especially since, at the time, Vienna was seen as the show's villain — kind of like if Chris Soules had chosen snobby Kelsey Poe instead of sweetheart Whitney Bischoff.

So what exactly went down? Here's everything you need to know:

Jake Told Tenley They Didn't Have Any Physical Chemistry

Poor Tenley was obviously head over heels for Jake, and after she met his family, they absolutely loved her — duh, she's super lovable — and made it clear that she was their choice over Vienna, who they weren't very big fans of. Things took a nosedive, though, when Jake told Tenley they didn't have physical chemistry... and then they proceeded to have a Fantasy Suite date despite that. When it came time for proposals, Jake telling Tenley it wasn't gonna happen was basically the most heartbreaking five minutes of television ever, even though she tried to keep a brave face.

So, Tenley Went On Bachelor Pad

She teamed up with Kiptyn Locke, and they were kind of adorable together. They were runners up (something that happens to Tenley a lot and I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY).

And, Then, Tenley And Kiptyn Fell In Love

They dated for four years — one of the longest Bachelor Nation romances — but ultimately, their relationship just didn't work out. Now, Kiptyn's a dad, and even though I miss Tenley and Kiptyn's relationship, he and his girlfriend Samm Murphy are pretty cute.

And, Now, She's On Bachelor In Paradise

My fingers are crossed that it works for her this time around. If not? She should probably consider dating outside Bachelor Nation since it's not served her too well. I just want her to live happily ever after with the most perfect person. Is that too much to ask?!
