Sarah Jessica Parker Wears Elie Saab At A Premiere
Love or hate SJP's style, but you have to admit that the fashionista knows how to take a risk and cause a reaction. At the Hamilton premiere, Sarah Jessica Parker rocked an Elie Saab emerald gown does it again, showing us who's the real queen of couture. Not only does she look stunning in the princess-style gown, she paired it with a snakeskin cross-body bag. Say what?
Few people can pull off a bold choice like this, but if anyone can, it's SJP. Sarah Jessica paired the dress with a few different bangles, rings, and kept her neck bare. As for her make up, she opted for a bit of a smokey eye, and went for a nude, natural lip. Her hair was kept in loose, beautiful waves, making her entire look more relaxed and breezy.
Who else can pull off wearing a large, cross-body bag to a formal event? I mean, I'm pretty sure thats a huge fashion faux-pas, but when you're SJP, you can pretty much get away with the boldest of fashion choices. Any other star would've probably opted for a small clutch or go purse-less altogether. I love the idea of pairing something so wrong and making it so right. Even with an edgier choice of bag, she still looked incredibly elegant.
I love this color on her, and it's often one that's overlooked, as most people opt for blacks, reds, and darker hues. Take a look below for some similar options to shop!
