Katy Perry Has Ombré Hair Now

If you think ombré hair is a thing of the past, think again. Katy Perry recently debuted ombré locks, proving the light-to-dark look is still alive and kicking. The throwback style looks gorgeous (obviously), but is a bit unexpected coming from Katy, TBH. The songstress is notorious for her quirky colorful hairstyles, which have ranged from lime green to lavender to bright pink, and the list goes on. No wonder ombré looks a bit demure on her.

Perry's new 'do is comprised of honey-colored hues that are a mixture of brown and blonde tones, which gradually get lighter towards the ends of her tresses. She kept the top of her mane pretty dark, so there's lots of contrast going on, and I'm totally digging it.

The 30-year-old unveiled her dip-dyed locks on Instagram with a photo captioned, "got dat hair flow back" — clearly, she's excited. Come to think of it, it has been a while since she underwent a hair transformation so I guess I should have seen this coming.

Personally, I predict Katy will singlehandedly be responsible for the resurgence of the beloved ombré. Soon enough, even Kylie Jenner will hop on the bandwagon, just wait and see.
