What Happened To CeCe After The 'PLL' Finale?

by Allyson Koerner

Now that we know the true identity (for real) of Charles DiLaurentis, aka CeCe Drake, on Pretty Little Liars , what happened to the mysterious individual who tortured the Liars for the past six seasons? Did A die? Did A live? Is A headed to another mental facility? Is the mysterious DiLaurentis going to live with Alison and once again become her sibling? Well, as PLL fans watched during the summer finale, Big A was cornered by police from Radley's roof, but that was all we saw. So what happened to CeCe?

As fans watched during the final scene, it looked like CeCe was about to jump off the roof of Radley, but, thankfully, the Liars talked her down from the ledge. She hopped off and declared, "Game over." There you have it, the A game if officially dunzo. With that said, where is CeCe at five years in the future? That still remains a mystery. I assume we'll learn all about when PLL returns for 6B.

Some expected CeCe to die, especially based on the first two minutes from the Season 6A finale, which were released the week before Tuesday's episode. The sneak peek showed Hanna, Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Alison talking to CeCe on the roof of Radley, after they learned her identity and got all the answers they've been searching for. In addition to telling CeCe they "understood" her actions, they all tried to talk her down from the roof's ledge and begged her not to jump. Then, they all screamed in panic as it was made to look like CeCe was about to take her own life, when instead she jumped back onto the roof with the Liars.

Well, now we know for sure what happened to CeCe on that roof. But what now? Was she taken to prison? For more on this seemingly solved mystery, check out Bustle's podcast Taking This One To The Grave.
