So, ICYMI, Kelly Clarkson is pregnant. Yay! What amazing news, right? First a quickie marriage, now a baby... everything is really coming up Milhouse for American Idol's first winner. Even better, she apparently loves being pregnant — most of the time. In a new interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, Kelly Clarkson revealed that she suffers from extreme morning sickness, to the point where she can't stop barfing.
Of course, Clarkson had a lot to say about her vomiting experiences: "I vomit a good dozen times a day. It's, like, bad," she explained. "I vomited before coming out here and I had a peppermint so you didn't (know)...I'm not even kidding, it's so bad. It's so bad. It's, like, so gross. And that's the thing too, you're not attractive when you're pregnant. Everybody tells you [that] you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty. That is total crap," she said. "My nails are short, my hair still falls out — it's not all lush and beautiful — and I have no glow. Unless it's, like, something left over from a bad throw up. It's horrible."
Extremely severe morning sickness is common, however — you may recall Kate Middleton was admitted to a hospital when she experienced it during her pregnancy, because it left her extremely dehydrated.
Still, Clarkson maintains she loves pregnancy... sort of. "I'm so happy I'm pregnant, I just wish .... like, he or she would stop trying to kill me."
That seems unlikely, but it certainly would be a plot twist. Feel better, Kelly!
