Kendall Jenner Is Bringing Denim Skirts Back

In middle school, my go-to outfit was a stone-washed denim skirt (low-rise, of course) and an Abercrombie & Fitch polo, popped of course. I cringe looking back at it, but somehow, Kendall Jenner wore a denim mini skirt and actually made it look pretty damn chic, pairing it with an off the shoulder white tee and that belt she's been rocking pretty hard lately. I'm loving this easy, relaxed look.

Do I have to go back to my childhood home and start digging for my denim skirts that I'd vow I'd never wear again?! Which, to be fair, was probably because I wore them with a tiny lace tank, long chunky necklace, and platform flip flops, à la Kristen from Laguna Beach. She was the queen of those, especially with flared jeans.

How exactly does Kenny manage to make this look so updated and enviable? It's all about the styling! First of all, the distressed denim is giving some serious bad girl vibes, and that definitely helps. The vintage feel makes the entire look much more relevant in 2015 (ironic, right?), and worn with a plain white top, she's normcoring it hard (is that a word? It should be). Plus, that belt. As always, she's topped her whole look off with an achingly-cool pair of sunnies, and the delicate necklace adds just an extra touch that makes the relaxed look feel put together.
