1D Fans React To Zayn & Perrie's Break Up

Only a few days after they were voted MTV's Sexiest Male & Sexiest Female in Pop, Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards are dunzo. Yes, Zayn and Perrie have called off their engagement. Much like Malik broke up with One Direction not long ago, he has once again split with something so close to him and to which he owes a big part of his career.

For non-Directioners and non-Brits, Perrie Edwards is a British pop star from the music group, Little Mix. She and Malik had been engaged since August 2013, and met on the set of the X-Factor , the very show that made One Direction, in December 2011. They began dating soon after they first met, and, all these years later, it was Malik who broke it off. Edwards is currently recording with Little Mix in Los Angeles, the same city where Malik is working on his new album. According to anonymous sources, she is "devastated" over the breakup.

This big news about a former member of One Direction comes on the same day of big news for the current members of One Direction. They performed on Good Morning America Tuesday morning, and Louis Tomlinson confirmed that he is indeed going to become a father. Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth is pregnant with Tomlinson's baby. The two are reportedly "just friends," but are still very excited about bringing this new life into the world.
