More Tragic News For Bobby Brown
The tragic news for the Brown family seems to just keep coming. TMZ reports that on Saturday, Aug. 1, Bobby Brown's wife, Alicia Etheredge, was rushed to the hospital after suffering a seizure. The event reportedly occurred during the evening, several hours after the funeral for Brown's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who passed away on July 26. According to the site, the seizure happened at the family's hotel, and Etheredge, with Brown by her side, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
No more details are known at this time, but as is, it's a terrifying report. Etheredge gave birth to her daughter with Brown, Bodhi Jameson Rein, less than a month ago. Yet according to TMZ, Etheredge was able to walk into the hospital without major assistance, so hopefully, her recovery from the reported health scare is underway.
It's been an incredibly rough year for the Brown family. In January, Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in her home, and was hospitalized for several months (during which time her family battled publicly about the quality and length of her care) before passing away in July at the age of 22. At her funeral on Aug. 1, more drama reportedly occurred, when Leolah Brown, Bobbi Kristina's aunt, allegedly screamed at Pat Houston (Whitney's sister) during the middle of the service.
Here's hoping that Etheredge gets well soon if the report is true, and that the Brown family finally finds some peace. They've gone through unimaginable pain and heartbreak this past year, and their future should be focused on healing from Bobbi Kristina's death and celebrating the birth of their child, not dealing with yet another tragedy befalling their family.
