Khloe Kardashian's Workout Clothes Are #Goals
As any fitionista will tell you, the right gym clothes are essential to a workout. When you feel confident, you perform better. Khloe Kardashian's workout clothes are proof that an arsenal of running leggings and brightly colored kicks are the best way to keep you on track. And although I look a little less bootylicious in my workout pics, our style really isn't that much different.
One look into Kardashian's workout closet (yes, she has a workout closet) and you'll instantly be filled with gym envy. I'm talking hundreds of pairs of sneakers, color coordinated leggings, and even a vanity just for her sweat bands. Seriously, it's crazy. I'd be lying if I said that my regular closet looked even remotely like her fitness-only one, but we both can appreciate a great workout outfit. There's no doubt that my closet would look just like hers if I had the money to stock up on a store's worth of exercise gear, but, well, I don't.
But what's possibly even better than the reality star's glamorous fitgear is her confidence and ability to brush off the haters. As seen in Kardashian's Complex magazine cover, the woman looks fabulous with or without retouching. And while I'd like to think we are similarly confident, our exercise wardrobes have some key differences.
Kardashian's Sports Bra
With a white, cut-out back and black workout shorts small enough to be considered underwear, this woman sure has the confidence to flaunt what she's got.
My Sports Bra
I don't normally run in a sports bra, but my recent stint doing so showed me just how much confidence it takes. Props to Kardashian on that. I ran in one of my two Victoria Secret Sport sports bras.
Kardashian's Patterned Leggings
I love the denim-inspired marble print mixed with the classic black. They're Nike, which means they're probably right around $80 to $100 a pair.
My Patterned Leggings
All three of these leggings came from TJ Maxx. Call it what you will, but I'll gladly take pride in my half-priced finds.
Kardashian's Kicks
The Nike Grey Air Max's are $135, which isn't bad if you're looking to invest in a nice pair of sneakers. But this pair is just one of the hundreds in her workout closet, so take that into consideration.
My Kicks
I'm sporting the Nike Free 4.0 that costs right around $100. But considering that I got them as a Valentine's Day gift from my boyfriend, technically they were free. So who's the real winner here?
Kardashian's Un-retouched Shot
She posted this online for all the haters out there who were saying her body only looked the way it did because of retouching. I think it's safe to say that this flexie (flexing-selfie, get it?!) was a major win.
My Un-retouched Shot
No, I'm not afraid to hit 'em with the flexie either. This un-retouched shot might not be as professional as Kardashian's, but we're both rocking just as much confidence!
I definitely don't have as much money to spend on my fitgear, but it looks like Kardashian and I aren't to far off when it comes to style — or so I like to think.
