'The Night Before' Trailer Is Packed With Stars
Brace yourselves, guys. The first trailer for The Night Before , Joseph Gordon-Levitt's new movie, just dropped and trust me — if you weren't excited for this one before, you're gonna be now. In fact, after watching this trailer, you're probably going to want to see this one so much, you'll be making plans to line up outside of the theater, like, tomorrow. Why? Not only does the cast (which include Gordon-Levitt, in addition to Seth Rogen and Anthony Mackie) and writing look brilliant, but I'm pretty sure there hasn't been this many amazing guest stars in one movie since Trainwreck 's surprising cameos.
Although it's still the middle of summer, the movie is ready to get you in the Yuletide spirit. It's Christmas Eve (hence the film's title) and friends Gordon-Levitt, Mackie and Rogen are ready to celebrate one last holiday together before succumbing to adulthood. As Entertainment Weekly so succinctly describes it, their mission is to "find the notoriously decadent "Nutcracka Ball," and hit as many holiday cultural traditions as possible — while hoping they don’t hit back."
Of course, hilarious hijinks (that are definitely not politically correct) ensue, but by far one of the highlights of this movie will be the star-studded cast. These are all actors with incredible comedic timing who aren't afraid to push the envelope, which makes them perfect for this movie. Don't believe me? Then you need to watch the first teaser!
The Night Before doesn't hit theaters until Nov 25, but you can check out the trailer and highlights from the amazing cast below!
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
It feels like forever since Gordon-Levitt starred in a movie, so I welcome him back with open arms.
Anthony Mackie
Mackie is known for his role in the Marvel franchises, but this role is refreshingly different for him.
Seth Rogen
Yep, this movie seems right up Rogen's alley, but that's part of the charm. It's guaranteed that he'll crush it.
Miley Cyrus
Yes, just yes. There isn't a lot known about Cyrus' cameo BUT SHE SINGS WITH GORDON-LEVITT.
Mindy Kaling
It's about time Kaling graced the big screen again. It looks like she and Lizzy Caplan are friends, and I want in on that girl squad ASAP.
Lizzy Caplan
Caplan defending "Wrecking Ball" is exactly why this movie will be great.
Possibility: Kanye West
Full disclosure: West doesn't appear in the trailer. However, "Runaway" is featured in the teaser and the rapper is listed as a cast member on The Night Before IMDb page... so there's at least a chance he could make a cameo.
