Welcome to the fourth installment of “Your Month IRL,” Bustle’s monthly roundup of in-person events, from seasonal celebrations to concerts your FYP is buzzing about. Now that we’re in the thick of spring, the Bustle team is prioritizing the fun of offline moments. If you want to do the same, here are some ideas for April 2025.

Some dates and details to keep in mind, regardless of which city you call home.
If you built your bracket and have been tuned in, or if you want to join in on the fun for the championship, mark your calendar for the women’s NCAA Final 4 games. Better yet, if you’re in the surrounding Tampa area, see if you can score a last-minute ticket to watch IRL. You might even find a new favorite player to watch ahead of the upcoming WNBA draft.
Long regarded as the unofficial start to festival season, Coachella returns to Indio for the 24th year. This year’s headliners include Post Malone, Travis Scott, Green Day, and Lady Gaga, who will perform her new album Mayhem live on a big stage for the first time. Get your festival style ready, folks.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival, which runs from late March through April, honors the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city. Events throughout the festival are mostly free to the public, making them a great way for the community to come together throughout the spring. Can’t make it IRL? This meteor peaks in April annually, but will reach its height this year on April 21/22, depending on your location. The best time to try and view the shower is between midnight and dawn in an area away from city lights. While visibility will vary, try laying on your back with your feet facing east, and give your eyes about half an hour to adjust to the darkness.
In the spirit of going outside, use National Picnic Day as an excuse to pack your park bag and invite your friends for a day of lounging in the sun. April offers ideal weather for that because “it's not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket,” as we learned from Miss Congeniality. Bonus points if you prepare somepicnic-worthy snacks.
Get ready to hear those “Club classics” because Charli XCX’s arena tour kicks off at the end of the month to gradually usher in Brat Summer 2.0. If you can’t make it to a show in person, channel the energy by wearing your best, brattiest lime green and streaming the album, the remix, or the song “Apple” until the viral TikTok dance is second nature again.
Gather your friends and splurge on an evening tasting over 200 wines at Wine Spectator’s Grand Tour on April 26. General admission and VIP tickets are available online, and the event, taking place at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk, will include food and a souvenir wine glass.

Held across multiple iconic venues — like the historic Olympia Theater — the Miami Film Festival will feature a buzzy lineup of new movies and conversations with stars, including Yellowjackets’ Melanie Lynskey. This year’s festival takes place from April 3 to April 13.

Seattle Restaurant Week is longer than its name suggests: The two-week event runs from March 30 to April 12 this year. Throughout, diners will find curated prix-fixe menus (ranging from $20 to $65) at participating restaurants, bars, cafes, food trucks, and pop-ups. It’s the perfect time to expand your culinary horizons, score delicious deals, and support the local economy.

If you love trinkets, jewelry, old paintings, and antique decor, then you need to pop by The Philadelphia Show at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. (Yes, the one with the Rocky steps.) All this and more will be displayed under a big tent from April 25 to 27.
