It’s been 10 years since the popular mobile game Flappy Bird made its debut, but that isn’t the only nostalgic app celebrating the big milestone. To get a glimpse into what your phone looked like a decade ago, here are some of the most memorable apps from 2013.

Flappy Bird

Ah, Flappy Bird. The viral sensation was fun yet frustrating, which is why developer Dong Nguyen opted to remove the game from the App Store and Google Pay in early 2014. Looks like the bird flapped too close to the sun.

Candy Crush Saga

Though the app technically made its debut in April 2012, the Candy Crush craze was still very much alive in 2013. In fact, the app is still listed under the Popular Games section of the App Store, so it looks like the obsession never really ended.
App Store: Subway Surfers

Subway Surfers also made its debut in 2012, but let’s be real: we were all still playing the endless runner game a year later.

Trivia Crack

If you’ve ever won trivia night at your local bar, you might have Trivia Crack to thank for that. With topics covering entertainment, art, history, science, sports, and more, you probably picked up more facts than you’d think.
App Store: Temple Run

Temple Run 2

The Temple Run sequel was another popular running game in 2013 and featured even more crumbling castles and towering temples than the OG version.
App Store: Clash Of Clans

Clash Of Clans

Released on the App Store in August 2012, Clash of Clans definitely had a moment in 2013. From battles to building your village, there was always a task to be completed in this mobile game.

Vine

Lastly, you can’t talk about popular 2013 apps without mentioning Vine. The six-second recording cut-off made making content challenging but fun and gave us so many iconic videos in the process. Fly high, old friend.
