It’s a monumental year for the Tony Awards following a milestone re-opening of Broadway in NYC after lockdown. From Chrissy Teigen’s sequined confection to Beanie Feldstein’s bright green frock, here are the best dressed of the evening.
Chrissy Teigen dressed like a glittery disco ball on the red carpet beside her husband, John Legend. She wore a fully sequined gown that boasted pink tulle ruffle sleeves designed by Ulyana Sergeenko.
Audra McDonald went for a classic black strapless gown designed by Carolina Herrera. Around her neckline, in her ears, on her wrists, and even intertwined in her hair were the most glamorous Tiffany & Co. diamonds.
Beanie Feldstein chose a bright green dress from Christian Siriano with a ruffled neckline and bubble hem, finishing off her look with jewelry from Graziela Gema.
Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel celebrated the re-opening of Broadway with an epic duet from Wicked. Chenoweth chose a Glinda-approved pink tulle strapless dress, while Menzel went for an Elphaba-inspired black ankle-length dress.

Lauren Patton made a bold statement on the red carpet, wearing a black-and-white skirt and blazer from Thom Browne, complete with a white button-down shirt and matching tie.
Cyndi Lauper went for a fresh take on the tuxedo, wearing a double-breasted blazer dress with dramatic, structured shoulders and thigh-high leather platform boots.
Nicolette Robinson chose Christian Siriano for the evening, slipping into a nude-toned tiered tulle gown with a feather-trimmed off-the-shoulder neckline.
