With Eugene Souleiman on hair and Isamaya Ffrench on makeup, the look at Yohji Yamamoto was nothing short of show-stopping. Models sported haphazardly styled wigs with white paint sprayed throughout; to match, white makeup covered eyebrows and lash lines.
The beauty look at Valentino was described as “rebellious,” and considering the moody, kohl-rimmed black liner, bleached brows, and blunt bangs, it’s safe to consider that a true statement.
Eclectic wig guru Tomihiro Kono designed elaborate flower masks for models at Anrealage’s Spring 2022 digital presentation. It was his first time creating such a look, and if you can believe it, the pro said he improvised this nature-themed beauty spectacle backstage.

The 2000s made yet another resurgence on the runway, this time at Lanvin, where models wore frosty, iridescent shimmer on the inner corners of their eyes and sometimes along the cheeks. Paired with a moody burgundy lip, the look was totally Y2K-friendly.

Exaggerated eyes were standouts at Matthew Williamson’s Givenchy. Lucia Pieroni added falsies, then drew the outline of a larger eye outside of their natural eye with black liner. A fluttery lash design on the bottom outer corners gave the look a painterly feel.
