Cardi B rocked many enviable looks at the 2021 AMAs — and you have celebrity makeup artist Erika La’Pearl to thank for all that greatness. Want more details? Scroll through to find out the exact products La’Pearl used on the rapper and how to get the look on your own.

La’Pearl used the Pat McGrath Labs PermaGel Eyeliner Pencils in Blk Coffee and Xtremeblack to define Cardi’s eyes, and the Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner to further accentuate her eye shape.

To get that natural smoky eye look, La’Pearl swept eyeshadow from the MTHRSHP Mega: Celestial Odyssey Palette over Cardi B’s eyelids.

Even with a fabulous avant-garde gold mask on, you can bet Cardi B’s complexion was glowing underneath. La’Pearl used the Algenist Blue Algae Vitamin C Skinclarity Brightening Serum as a radiance-enhancing makeup base.

For Cardi’s grand entrance as the AMAs 2021 host, La’Pearl went for a darker lipstick and used Pat McGrath Lab’s Lip Fetish Divinyl Lip Shine in Divine Rose 2 for a soft plum shade and the PermaGel Ultra Lip Pencil in Night Fever for definition.

At another point in the evening, Cardi switched outfits and gave the audience a much better view of her stellar locks. The rapper’s blunt bangs and (extra) long, straight hair dazzled along with the airy layers of her gown.

To match her classic red lipstick after the show, Cardi wore the new KISS Lash Drip, which alternates wispy lashes with longer, spiky ones. The result is a “wet” effect that creates the look of dewy eyelashes.
