Mariannette Miller-Meeks, a Republican state senator, is leading her Democratic counterpart, Rita Hart, 196,860 to 196,812. If she wins, she'd flip the seat, which had been held by retiring Democratic Rep. David Loebsack.

In the Golden State, Republican Rep. Mike Garcia is facing Christy Smith in a rematch from a May 2020 special election, in which both candidates vied to represent the northern regions of Los Angeles County, replacing former Congresswoman Katie Hill.

In Utah's smallest district, just south of Salt Lake City, first-term Congressman Ben McAdams (D) is trailing his Republican challenger, the former professional football player Burgess Owens.

Owens, who spoke at the Republican National Convention, has closely aligned himself with President Trump. As of Nov. 13, he was leading McAdams by 1,158 votes with 98% of estimated votes reporting.
