Photos Of Selena Wearing Justin Bieber's Hockey Jersey Are Going Viral & They're Too Much

After being photographed over the weekend hanging out, going to church, then grabbing breakfast, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were spotted again together on Wednesday, Nov. 1, and this time Gomez was even seen wearing Bieber's hockey jersey. This pretty much set off the Twitterverse, with fans and Jelena shippers assuming that the move was meant as some sort of confirmation that the couple was back together. (Bustle has reached out to reps for Gomez and Bieber for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.)

Before watching Bieber play in a hockey game at the Los Angeles Valley Ice Center in Ventura on Wednesday, the two were spotted taking a bike ride together, E! reports. During the game, sources told E! that Gomez cheered Bieber on, but attempted to hide her face from photographers. According to People, she arrived in an all-black ensemble, but as Gomez and Bieber left the building she appeared to be wearing Bieber's New Jersey Devils hockey jersey. No word on whether it was the exact same item that Bieber physically wore while playing, or perhaps a spare, matching jersey.

Gomez and Bieber dated on-and-off from 2011 to 2015, as People notes. The couple gave fans major relationship goals, and many have been hoping the singers would get back together ever since they stopped dating. So fans were easily excited by reports and photos of Gomez and Bieber together recently, especially ones (like the photo below) of Gomez wearing Bieber's jersey. A move that definitely added to speculation that she and Bieber had rekindled their romantic relationship.

One user on Twitter even joked that it was the "Canadian equivalent of getting engaged." Remember, Bieber grew up in Ontario, Canada. Whether or not they are indeed back together, take notice of how Gomez seems to be laughing in this photo of her and Bieber together after the hockey game.

They certainly do seem happy! Much to the delight of Jelena fans on Twitter.

However, speculation about Jelena wasn't met with positive feedback by everyone. "It's tiring and [I'm] not even a part of the relationship," one person tweeted.

Others also cited the on-again-off-again nature of their relationship or say that Bieber supposedly broke Gomez's heart. Some are saying that Gomez will likely get back together with The Weeknd. So, you could definitely say reactions to the Jelena rumors are diverse.

The "Wolves" singer had recently been dating The Weeknd (whose real name is Abel Tesfaye). The two were first spotted together in January of this year, and made their red carpet debut in May at the Met Gala. However, multiple sources reported earlier this week that Gomez and The Weeknd were no longer together, following fan speculation after The Weeknd unfollowed a number of Gomez's friends and family on Instagram. According to a source who spoke with People, "she and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship." The insider cited their conflicting schedules as the reason for their breakup. "It's been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York," the source explained.

Gomez has openly spoken about her decision to be more selective about what she says in interviews regarding her romantic life. However, she doesn't seem to be shy when it comes to hanging out in public with Bieber, which could be a good thing. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, as is shown by the fan reaction to the recent jersey photos, but none of us really know exactly what's going on between Gomez and Bieber, and if they make each other happy then that's all that really matters.
