After hinting at a new, vanilla-flavored drink, Starbucks has officially launched a spring beverage at locations in the United States and Canada.

The Iced Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso will be a permanent menu item. It’s made with Starbucks Blonde espresso and caramelized vanilla that is shaken together with ice then finished with oat milk.

It joins the existing lineup of shaken espressos, which includes the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso.

This isn’t the first time Starbucks has released new drinks for spring. In 2020, they introduced the Iced Pineapple Matcha and Iced Golden Ginger to menus nationwide.

In addition to the new iced beverage, Starbucks is celebrating the spring season with coffee blends you can pick up at the grocery store like this Spring Day Blend that has notes of cocoa and fruit.

Starbucks is also launching their “order ahead” option at major airports across the United States for Starbucks Rewards members to use during their spring travel. You can sign up for the rewards program here or by downloading the Starbucks app.
