The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus phones have previous model’s A15 Bionic chip — aka the processor responsible for performance — and feature a durable Cermic Shield front cover. The difference between the two? The iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch screen and the 14 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen. And, you can expect a longer battery life — the 14 Plus has the best battery life of any iPhone.
The iPhone 14 boasts upgrades to its dual-camera system. There’s an all-new 12-megapixel Main camera that adds better detail, less noise, faster exposure times, and more. Plus, there’s a new front TrueDepth camera that allows for 49% better low-light performance for photos and video.
All models have Emergency SOS via satellite, which will let you use emergency services when you don’t have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage. There’s also Crash Detection, which will automatically dial emergency services after a bad car crash if someone is unconscious or can’t access their phone.
The iPhone 14 Pro (6.1 inches) and iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7 inches) offer an all-new design (think new ways to interact with your notifications) and an Always-On display. The device, made of stainless steel and a textured matte glass, is powered by A16 Bionic — aka the fastest chip ever in a smartphone.
“iPhone 14 Pro introduces a camera system that empowers every user — from the casual user to the professional — to take their best photos and video, and innovative new technologies like the Always-On display and the Dynamic Island, which offers new interactions for notifications and activities.”
