From sexual innuendos to an actual wild animal, the new women on The Bachelor pulled out all the stops for Zach Shallcross.

When Christina Mandrell first met Zach during ABC’s The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose special, she brought two mini liquor bottles. On The Bachelor’s season premiere, the 26-year-old content creator kept the party going by arriving on an actual party bus, instead of a limo. “I’m actually just coming from my bachelorette party,” she jokingly explained to Zach.

Giving a different meaning to “wild,” Iowa native Mercedes brought along her pig, Henry, as a nod to her childhood on a farm and showing pigs. The 24-year-old nonprofit owner’s entrance ended up being one of Zach’s favorite premiere moments.

Explaining that she’s a nurse who specializes in dermatology, Katherine asked Zach, “I was just wondering, would you want to SPF me?” Clarifying that she meant “sunscreen, silly,” she also joked that the moon rays were “a little aggressive” before the tech executive gamely obliged.

Referencing Zach’s date with Rachel in Holland on The Bachelorette, a contestant also named Holland suggestively told him, “I think the reason things didn’t work out is just because you were in the wrong Holland.” And yes, she later apologized to her mom and dad watching at home.

Holland wasn’t the only one to rely on sexual innuendo to make a big first impression. After telling Zach that she’s from Austin, Texas, where he also currently lives, Kaity looked down there, offering, “Judging by what I can see right now, I can confirm that everything is bigger in Texas.”

Things got more physical when Lekha asked Zach to do her a “favor” and “bend down for a second.” When he did, she leaned in and licked his ear. “I licked it, so now it’s mine,” she said, later joking about how she’d marked her territory.

As a native of Vermont, Gabi explained that it was her “right” to force Zach to drink the maple syrup she’d brought as “a little bit of home.” Though the syrup left a bad taste in the Bachelor’s mouth, he had a higher opinion of the 25-year-old account executive.

“I find your voice incredibly attractive,” Victoria J. told Zach before asking him to read something out loud for her. After he walked into the trap of telling the 30-year-old makeup artist her dress looked “amazing” on her, she replied, “I was really hoping you would say that.”

Though ABC only showed a snippet of Kylee’s entrance, the 25-year-old postpartum nurse made herself heard, arriving with a bullhorn. “Look at you, 6’4”, tall, burly man,” she said, later telling the camera that she’s a funny woman, so she was glad she “made him laugh.”

Louisiana native Vanessa made some noise by having a trumpeter announce her arrival as she danced her way toward Zach, tossing beads to some of her fellow contestants along the way, in true Mardi Gras-style. Nobody had to flash her to get them, though.
