As fans get ready to belt out as much as they can from her prolific discography, dance on their own, and make the moves up as they go, let’s reflect on Swift’s 2009 Fearless Tour.

The Fearless Tour marked Swift’s first headlining tour. “Having written my own songs, they are all stories in my head, and my goal for this tour is to bring those stories to life,” she said in a press release announcing that tour.

Throughout her tour, which lasted from April 2009 to June 2010, Swift traveled throughout the United States, England, and Australia. Her opening acts were country music group Gloriana and American Idol finalist Kelli Pickler. Justin Bieber opened for her on her U.K. stops.

Throughout her shows, elaborate sets were created and so many details that Swift dreamt up were brought to life, including a marching band, a majestic castle, and confetti cannons.

She wore multiple costumes throughout each concert, including dazzling dresses, a band major suit with a feather hat — and her signature lucky No. 13 drawn on the back of her hand.

She opened the show with her hit single “You Belong With Me” and then pivoted to to “Our Song,” “Tell Me Why,” “Teardrops on My Guitar,” and of course, “Fearless.”

Along with other songs from Fearless, she also belted out “Tim McGraw” and “Picture to Burn” from her self-titled album. For the finale, she sang “Today Was a Fairytale” and “Should’ve Said No.”

More than a decade later, Swifties still remember the show all too well. “Even in a crowd full of thousands, Taylor has the ability to make you feel like you are the only person in the room,” Twitter user Kayla (@blessedswift) tells Bustle of her experience at the 2009 tour.

“This has been something that she has continued to prosper and balance throughout her entire career,” Kayla added. “Even in a stadium full of thousands, she makes you feel like she is singing directly to you.” Kayla attended the Glendale stops of the Eras Tour.

“Looking back makes me feel proud that I got to be a part of her career and cheer her on then and now,” Kayla reflects 14 years later. “A lot of the fans feel like we have grown up with her, and it truly does feel like we have grown up with her and each other.”

Swift’s tour made more than $63 million and had 1 million-plus people in attendance, according to Billboard. In the middle of her tour, she would also go on to win four Grammys in 2010 for Fearless.
