Elvis Presley’s only child, Lisa Marie Presley, passed away on Jan. 12 after she experienced cardiac arrest. She was 54. Here’s a look at the musician’s life in photos.

The musician and philanthropist was born on Feb. 1, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee to Elvis and Priscilla Presley.

Presley was only 4 when her parents separated and just 9 at the time of her father’s death, which appeared to be due to heart failure, in August 1977. The King of Rock and Roll was 42.

She married musician Danny Keough in 1988 and had two children with him: actor Riley and Ben, who died in 2020. Keough and Presley divorced six years later, in 1994.

Weeks after divorcing Keough, Presley married Michael Jackson in 1994 amid accusations of child molestation against him. She even appeared in his 1995 music video “You Are Not Alone.” They divorced in 1996, but she later told Oprah they were on-again and off-again for four more years.

In 2002, Presley married her third husband, Leaving Las Vegas actor Nicolas Cage. Their marriage was short-lived, however, and they split three months later.

In 2003, Presley followed in her father’s footsteps and released her debut album, To Whom It May Concern, featuring the hit single “Lights Out.”

She subsequently released two more albums, Now What (2005) and Storm & Grace (2012).

Throughout her music career, Presley collaborated with several artists including Pink for “Shine” and Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan for “Savior.”

Presley also later reworked two of her father’s original songs — “In the Ghetto” and “I Love You Because” — and sang on top of his vocals as duets.

Presley married a fourth time in 2006; this time it was to Michael Lockwood, her music producer. The two were married for 10 years before she filed for divorce.

Presley and Lockwood share twin daughters, Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love. They had joint custody of the kids following their split.

Presley attended the 2023 Golden Globes on Jan. 10 to support Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis.

Back in May, Presley called the film “nothing short of spectacular” and “absolutely exquisite” on Instagram.

She also praised Austin Butler, who bagged the Best Actor award. It was her last public appearance.

“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known,” her mother, Priscilla, said in a statement to People confirming her death.

Presley is survived by her mother, 77, and three daughters, Riley, 33, and twins Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love, 14.

She will be laid to rest at Graceland, her father’s estate, beside her son, Ben.
