17 Photos Of Brad Pitt & Other Celebs At The Formula 1 Grand Prix In Austin

Brad Pitt, one of Hollywood’s biggest movie stars, made an appearance at the F1 Grand Prix in Austin on Oct. 23.

Pitt was at the tracks doing research as he’s set to star in a new Apple TV+ movie focused on Formula 1.

Lewis Hamilton, who is considered the league’s most recognizable face, is set to produce the film, and he and Pitt were seen together throughout the weekend.

Pitt also spent time with various teams on the tracks, likely gathering information for his character, “a seasoned racing driver who comes out of retirement to mentor a promising young rookie.”

Pitt’s Plan B production company will produce the film, while Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski will helm the as-yet-untitled movie.

Pitt got up close and personal with the driving crew throughout the weekend.

It wasn’t all work though; Pitt was seen taking selfies with members of competing teams on the track.

The weekend featured many celebrity sightings and performances, including Green Day, Ed Sheeran, Interpol, and Shaquille O’Neal’s new career as a DJ.

Green Day blew the roof down on Friday with performances of their now-classic hits “American Idiot,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” and “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”

Ed Sheeran treated F1 fans to a live show on Saturday. His set list included fan favorites like “Perfect,” “A Team,” and “Shape of You,” as well as his latest releases “Call on Me” and “Shivers.”

In addition to Pitt, celebrities like Adrian Grenier, Brooklyn Beckham, Wyclef Jean, Scott Eastwood, and Chloë Grace Moretz were also spotted strolling the F1 garages.

Jean and Moretz showed their support for Williams Racing in particular during the weekend.

Scott Eastwood also visited Williams Racing, learning a little bit about the behind-the-scenes process.

Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal spun a DJ set under the moniker DJ Diesel as the cars pulled into the garage at the end of the race.

Singer Madison Beer posed with Grand Prix winner Max Verstappen’s car on the grid.

Model Ashley Graham was next in line for a snap with Verstappen’s car.

Alt-rock band Interpol closed the weekend, celebrating their 20th anniversary at Germania Insurance Amphitheater.
