Brad Pitt, one of Hollywood’s biggest movie stars, made an appearance at the F1 Grand Prix in Austin on Oct. 23.

Pitt was at the tracks doing research as he’s set to star in a new Apple TV+ movie focused on Formula 1.

Pitt also spent time with various teams on the tracks, likely gathering information for his character, “a seasoned racing driver who comes out of retirement to mentor a promising young rookie.”

The weekend featured many celebrity sightings and performances, including Green Day, Ed Sheeran, Interpol, and Shaquille O’Neal’s new career as a DJ.

Green Day blew the roof down on Friday with performances of their now-classic hits “American Idiot,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” and “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”

Ed Sheeran treated F1 fans to a live show on Saturday. His set list included fan favorites like “Perfect,” “A Team,” and “Shape of You,” as well as his latest releases “Call on Me” and “Shivers.”

In addition to Pitt, celebrities like Adrian Grenier, Brooklyn Beckham, Wyclef Jean, Scott Eastwood, and Chloë Grace Moretz were also spotted strolling the F1 garages.
