Meghan & Harry’s New York Trip Was A Sweet Return To Service

The trip marked their first joint public appearances since Megan gave birth to their second child, Lilibet Diana, in June.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio at One World Trade Center on Sept. 23.

The mayor also brought Meghan and Harry up to One World Observatory to take in the view from the top of One World Trade Center.

On Sept. 24, the Sussexes visited a Harlem public school, P.S. 123.

Meghan, newly a children’s book author, read to the students.

Harry joined in with the kids, who didn’t seem at all fazed by the presence of literal royalty.

There were hugs, high-fives, and photos with the kids.

Meghan and Harry’s biggest appearance was at Central Park on Sept. 25, where they pushed for vaccine equity at Global Citizen Live.

Photographers caught them sharing many sweet moments, including when they laughed together off stage.

When they took the stage, Harry and Meghan got a warm greeting from attendees.

The couple looked in sync as they held hands throughout the event.

All in all, it looks like a successful return to service for the Sussexes.
