Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin announced on Oct. 4 that 90-year-old actor William Shatner will channel his inner James T. Kirk and travel to space. “I’ve heard about space for a long time now,” the Star Trek actor said. “I’m taking the opportunity to see it for myself. What a miracle.”

Shatner is not the only celeb with eyes on the stars as many other superstars have also purchased tickets to one day experience the final frontier. In 2013, Richard Branson confirmed that Justin Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun had purchased Virgin Galactic tickets. “Let’s shoot a music video in SPACE!! #nextLEVEL,” he replied. It’s unknown whether Bieber ever bought Hailey Bieber a ticket to join him.

Oscar winner Kate Winslet apparently received a Virgin Galactic ticket from Richard Branson as both a wedding gift after marrying his nephew Edward Abel Smith in 2012 and as a thank you for once saving his 90-year-old mother from a fire, according to Syfy.

Years before Rihanna became a billionaire, she reportedly put down a deposit for three seats aboard a Virgin Galactic flight. “She has been obsessed with space since she was a child so it would be a dream come true for her,” a source said, according to The Hamilton Spectator.

Just like his character Roy McBride in the 2019 film Ad Astra (pictured), Brad Pitt will one day take to the skies after he bought a Virgin Galactic ticket, per Business Insider.
