The 33-year-old star isn’t afraid to pull out all the stops when it comes to poking fun at her husband. In 2017, for example, she posted a photo on Instagram of Reynolds’ silhouette at the Time 100 Gala with John Legend performing in the background. “Congratulations to the most influential person in my life,” she captioned the picture. “The best man I know... you deserve this @time 100 honor ... If only my husband wasn't blocking you in this shot. I'm so sorry @johnlegend.”

Reynolds really thought he did something when he posted a photo for Lively’s birthday with her face cropped out. But two months later, in October 2017, the A Simple Favor actor got him back for his birthday by sharing a photo of — drumroll, please — Ryan Gosling.

Not all of us can be good at everything, and that’s also true for the Deadpool actor. In December 2017, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star took to Instagram to share a photo of her husband’s wonky Christmas cookies. “@vancityreynolds made some Christmas cookies,” she wrote alongside the photo. “He’s verrry handsome though.”

When the trailer for A Simple Favor dropped in 2018, Reynolds tweeted Lively asking what happened to one of the characters. “You can tell me. We’re married,” he wrote. “You once drove me to the hospital when you were giving birth. So... what the f*ck happened to Emily?” Of course, Lively didn’t spill any details. However, she did give her husband some food for thought. “Oh darling, of all the secrets I’m keeping from you, this should be the LEAST of your concerns,” she responded. “Trust me.”

In June 2019, The Proposal actor posted an image on Instagram of himself being interviewed by a twin brother that he doesn’t even have. “Sh*t. Your brother is hot,” The Age of Adeline star commented. “I’ve made a terrible mistake.” According to Reynolds, though, she didn’t make a mistake at all. “You’ve been living with him for over a year,” he quipped.

In June 2018, another celeb stepped in to help Lively troll her husband: Anna Kendrick. “@annakendrick47 is the hotter, female(r) version of my husband... so, would it reaaaally count as cheating??” Lively captioned an image of posters from A Simple Favor. Kendrick seemed to be fully on board. “So glad we’re finally taking this public,” she commented. “I let Ryan have Deadpool, he can give me this.”

In May 2020, Lively slid into the comments on a Photoshopped picture of Reynolds in a Speedo posted by satire account @RonaldMcDonkey. Her comment was captured by @commentsbycelebs. “Please stop stealing my personal photos,” she joked.

In October 2020, Lively went with her husband as he voted for the first time as a U.S. citizen. “It was Ryan’s first time,” she wrote alongside a photo of the pair holding onto their ballots. “He was understandably scared. It all happened so fast. Like, REALLY fast. He wept. I pretended to weep. Then he called all his friends. #voteearly.” Fans also noticed that Lively Photoshopped high heels into the photo, sending the internet into a tailspin.

In December 2020, Lively took to her Instagram stories to reveal some of her favorite things from Reynolds’ hometown of Vancouver, Canada. Unfortunately, he did not make the cut. She then shared images of various desserts from local shops before revealing the fourth and final item: more desserts from an Italian restaurant called Ask for Luigi. “Who did you think I was gonna say?” she joked.

After getting their COVID-19 vaccinations, the Green Lantern actor couldn’t help but troll lively by doing a “who wore it better?” poll on Instagram, which featured a side-by-side image of them both sporting ridiculous hats. However, Reynolds wasn’t prepared for his wife’s clapback, in which she joked that Reynolds looked like the love child of a Bernie Sanders meme and The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou.
