Hailee Steinfeld is one of those rare talents who can go effortlessly from one role to the next, leaving us all thinking "how does she do it?" When she's not starring in a hit movie or scooping up Oscar nods, she's killin' it on stage with hits like "Starving," or jetting around the world for modeling campaigns. That's why I knew Steinfeld's look on the MTV red carpet would be good. Because (guess what) the girl's got style, too.
Steinfeld can go from grungy cool teenager in movies like The Edge of Seventeen to super hot on-stage looks for her album tour, and she makes it all work. The actress has some serious versatility, which was made all the more obvious with her look on Sunday night.
She walked the red carpet in a to-die-for lavender dress, which featured a high neck and super short skirt to show off her legs. It was covered in gorgeous silver embellishments and had super cool cutouts at the waist.
Steinfeld paired the look with sleek silver pumps, which looked all at once modern and ultra glam. What I loved most, though, was her hair and makeup. Her long hair was down and incredibly sleek, but still very relaxed. And her makeup appeared to be a similar light purple. See what I mean? Steinfeld can do no wrong.
