Arie's 'Bachelor' Contestants Are Finally Here

The time is finally here, Bachelor Nation. The contestants for Arie's 2018 season of The Bachelor have been announced, so it's time to start making your predictions. People announced the women who will be competing for Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s heart and Neil Lane ring on Friday afternoon, along with a cast photos, headshots of all the contestants, and their names, ages, jobs, and where they live. Arie has 29 contestants, which is one less than Nick Viall had on the most recent season of the show.

Obviously, we won't know too much about Arie's contestants until the show actually starts, but we can see where we might be (vicariously) traveling to on hometown dates this season, how their ages compare to Arie's (he's 36), and if there are any particularly strange job titles this season (spoiler alert: weirdly, there aren't).

Usually, when the contestants are announced, ABC also releases bios for each one, but this year that is not the case. While we probably will soon get those bios with their favorite movies, worst first dates, and the occasional TMI tidbit about their lives, this time around, the names and photos were shared without the full bios, which doesn't leave fans much to go off of. Thankfully, Reality Steve has complied a list of some of the contestants with their last names and social media info, which gives fans some more info and photos of them.

Whew! Hopefully, the show will release the bios of all of these contestants soon. Fans need to know how to arbitrarily decide which contestant is most likely to get the first impression rose, make it to the final two, or become this season Whaboom based on only what we'll find out about their biggest fear, desert island essentials, and favorite hobby. After all, there isn't much time before the new season premieres on New Year's Day 2018 at 8 p.m ET.
