Friday, we give thanks because not only did Thanksgiving allow us to stuff ourselves full of delicious, buttery foods, but it also delivered some seriously adorable holiday cheer on Lady Gaga and the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular. There were songs and dance (and of course fuzzy friends), but most importantly, there was Joseph Gordon-Levitt singing a classic Christmas carol alongside Gaga (below).
During their duet of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" with gender roles reversed and a few of the lyrics changed up to soften the song's more recent status as a sexual predator anthem, Gordon-Levitt donned his classic perfectly-tailored suit while Gaga wore a classic holiday gown with a few daring twists (visible tattoos and classic Christmas music, oh my). For fans of this song and holiday cheer, this might be the cutest thing you'll see all week.
Sure, Gaga is doing the same wide-eyed look she introduced the confused masses to during her 2013 MTV VMA performance of "Applause" while she's romancing JGL, but he's so wickedly adorable (like the kind of adorable that renders you visibly embarrassed that you've been so greatly charmed) that it all comes together quite nicely.
And in Gaga's defense, I might try a few unconventional methods (emphatic googley eyes and sparkly stilettos perched defiantly on the sofa are worth a shot) to get Gordon-Levitt to cuddle with me on a cold winter's night, too.
