You Have To See Kate Mara's New Pixie Cut

Whether it's for a movie role or for her own personal pleasure, Kate Mara has rocked every hair cut and color in the book. Most recently she has been sporting a short bob, and now the actress has gone even shorter — Kate Mara debuted a pixie cut that's super short at the Women In Film event in West Hollywood on Monday, proving that she can look amazing with hair at any length. From jet black to platinum blonde, super long locks that reach her hips to shorter than ever tresses, this woman has done it all — but the pretty pixie is definitely her best look yet.

The actress is the latest to hop on the celebrity hair transformation bandwagon, following in the footsteps of fellow celebs like Mindy Kaling's and her chin-length bob, Zoe Kravitz's short 'do, and Jennifer Lopez's dramatic cut. Mara's pixie stands out from the rest, though, for its super girly accents. The deep side part and slicked back side bangs give it a fabulous feminine touch that suits her perfectly. The warm auburn hue brings out her beautiful, luminous complexion, and the textured pieces in the back of the hair make an otherwise overdone style look edgy. In other words, she totally nailed it.
