The Very Best Jumpsuits at Cannes
Fab fashion at Cannes is something of a given, but fab jumpsuits? Definitely icing on the cake — and this year's festival featured several, each fashionable in its own way. Four different actresses took on the challenge and the looks ranged from black tie to summer chic. While jumpsuits are notoriously tricky to pull off, fashion giants like Aishwarya Rai, Marion Cotillard and Rachel Weisz can do no red carpet wrong — and Cannes newcomer Mackenzie Foy showed that she was more than up to the task as well.
Aishwarya went floral (really floral) in wide-legged Sabysachi at the Variety celebration for UN Women, while Rachel Weisz went Parisian in striking black at the premiere of The Lobster. Later in the week, Mackenzie strutted her stuff in what might just be the most chic Red Valentino romper ever, and Marion showed off her adventurous side with a colorful, striped Ulyana Sergeenko ensemble — so let's take a look at the four most glamorous jumpsuits at Cannes!
Aishwarya Rai
Aishwarya killed it at pretty much every event she attended (especially the premiere of Youth , where she wore Ralph & Russo Couture), and this jumpsuit might just be one of my favorites, especially with the advent of its floor-length matching coat.
Rachel Weisz
Okay, so when is Rachel going to appear as a Bond girl alongside her husband, Daniel Craig? This outfit practically screams gun-totin' femme fatale.
Mackenzie Foy
Mackenzie, who you might recognize from Interstellar, went age-appropriate and chic at the premiere of The Little Prince in this peach, Peter Pan-collared playsuit (the school-ish white Oxfords are an especially nice touch).
Marion Cotillard
Plus: Bonus Michael Fassbender!
Marion completely stunned in a NYE-worthy sparkly dress at the premiere of Macbeth, but she also pulled out the stops at the photocall — no one can wear jewel tones quite like her, and that silk Ulyana Sergeenko jumpsuit is perfect for summer.
