Diane Kruger Wears Pants To The Met Gala

Want a sure-fire way to turn heads on the red carpet? Wear pants! Diane Kruger attended the Met Gala tonight wearing see-though, crystal-studded pants, and an embellished tube top. Like Cara Delevingne before her, who sported white pants and a black Stella McCartney top at last year's event, Diane Kruger managed to look calm, cool, collected, and glamorous as hell while standing out in a sea of floor-length, floral-studded numbers.

Kruger's pale pink Chanel two-piece featured an elongated strapless bodice and sheer pants dotted with floral embellishments, accented by a dramatic chiffon shawl. She paired the look with matching t-strap sandals, a small red clutch, and a simple diamond bangle. Red lipstick and coordinating nail polish added the finishing touches, but her hairstyle was perhaps my favorite part. Kruger pulled her blonde waves back in an asymmetrical up 'do secured by a bouquet of tiny white flowers.

Not only did Kruger look fabulous, but she also cut an interesting figure. Subtle details like the floral embroidery and the red accents nod toward the China: Through The Look Glass theme without being over-the-top, but the silhouette of her ensemble is solely unique. Take a look:
