Here's some exciting news for New Girl's Schmidt. Max Greenfield is expecting his second child with wife Tess Sanchez, the actor's rep confirmed to Us Weekly. The couple of about seven years are already parents to daughter Lilly, who they had in 2010. Now that the two are having another baby, Greenfield is probably going to need some new jokes, because you know he used up all his good ones on his first kid.
Seeing as Greenfield is absolutely hilarious as Schmidt on New Girl , there's no doubt he is just as funny in real life. Can you imagine all the jokes he cracks for his family? Even if he's used up all his good jokes on Lily, I have a feeling he'll have no problem coming up with new ones for his second child.
Greenfield seems like a wonderful dad. As he told Us Weekly in 2012 about his daughter, "It is crazy…it's our first kid, and all of a sudden, she identifies letters as what they are, and you go, 'This kid is a genius — she's obviously some sort of savant!'" Also, just look how much fun Lily and Greenfield are having the below photo. If that doesn't say great dad, I don't know what does.
Do you think the New Girl cast and crew will throw Greenfield and co-star Zooey Deschanel a joint baby shower, seeing as both are expecting? Just because Greenfield isn't giving birth like Deschanel will to her first child, doesn't mean he can't take part in the baby shower experience, right?
