15 Smoothie Recipes That Are So Deliciously Simple, You Won't Even Realize How Healthy They Actually Are
I don't know about you, but the warm weather and fresh air that spring brings always makes me want to eat better and lighter. More than that, it makes me feel ambitious enough to actually attempt doing it — which is why I have my eye on these healthy smoothie recipes. There's something about eating something colorful and good for you in the bright sunshine that's so refreshing, especially after being cooped up for so long.
But while finding Pinterest-esque recipes is one thing, actually, you know, making them is a completely different story. It's better to start small. Like, really small — with smoothies. We're hardly even a month into the new season, but one thing is proving to be true: this spring is all about the smoothie, and in that, I know I'm not alone. Starbucks recently announced that it would be releasing a kale smoothie, which is quite the turn around from the Birthday Cake Frappuccino. But do you really need another reason to stop at Starbucks in the morning? Why not take all the ambition spring has given you, and use it to make one of these 15 delicious (and healthy!) smoothies instead? Starbucks isn't the only one who can spice things up with kale!
