Sofia Vergara & Reese Witherspoon = Best Film Ever

Amidst all of the gorgeous gowns and mani cams, the 2015 Golden Globes managed to work a it of advertisement in there. (Ha, a bit.) Specifically, I am talking about Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon talking about their new movie — and the fact that they make out with each other in it. Much of the world had no idea that the two actresses even had a movie together coming up, leading us to do some digging to find out about their upcoming project Don't Mess with Texas or Hot Pursuit. It seems filmmakers have settled with Hot Pursuit as the title and now Hot Pursuit has released a trailer that is literally the most epic thing you will see this morning. (Besides Taylor Swift's "Style" music video. And Drake's surprise mixtape. And Fifty Shades of Grey. All right, it's just up there, okay?)

The trailer will give you immediate flashbacks of Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy's The Heat, except better because Sofia Vergara provides a much needed breath of diversity as one of the female leads. It follows Reese Witherspoon as the heavily accented inept police officer who must protect Vergara, a key witness in their case against a very dangerous drug lord, from being murdered like every other witness that came before her. The two ladies not only play well off each other but have amazing comedic timing alone, resulting in a trailer that you will literally laugh your way through.

I'm already clamoring for a sequel and this trailer was only two minutes long. Check it out below and get ready for the best buddy comedy of 2015, which hits theaters May 8.
