Be still, my lipstick loving heart: Meghan Trainor for Clinique is coming, and it's shaping up to be a pretty fabulous first break into the beauty industry for the star. According to Teen Vogue, it's not a brand new set of Trainor-designed products, but rather a cool way to get an assortment of the "Lips Are Moving" singer's favorite — you guessed it — lip products. The nine pieces (including some of the obsession-worthy Clinique Chubby Sticks) are being sold separate, but were curated by Trainor herself, plus she designed a limited edition sequin clutch, which will be available starting Tuesday with any Clinque purchase of $30 or more. Think you can wait the whole weekend to get your hands on it?
This isn't exactly Trainor's first partnership with a brand — she teamed up with Hewlett Packard for that one commercial — but it is her first official gig with a makeup company. Honestly, what's taken so long? Everyone was flipping over her amazing beauty look in the "All About That Bass" music video and, after from her songs and general body positive message, she's famous for her fun, retro-cotton-candy-Barbie-but-better hair and makeup.
So, with her new album, Train, and her first beauty collaboration dropping on Tuesday, I'd say 2015 is off to a pretty great start for Trainor — and I can't wait to see what else is coming.
