We have another set of happy and proud parents on our hands! Nick and Vanessa Lachey just gave birth to their second child, a baby girl named Brooklyn Elisabeth! (How sweet is that name?) They announced the exciting news on Vanessa's official website. You know how some parents are over the moon when they finally meet their baby for the first time? Well, that definitely goes for these two. Not only did they share the first photo of Brooklyn (her little fingers, at least), but they expressed their immense love for the tiny addition.
If you thought Brooklyn's name was sweet, wait until you read this post. Vanessa writes,
She’s HERE!!!! Nick, Camden and I are SO excited to announce the birth of our sweet, beautiful baby girl, Brooklyn Elisabeth Lachey! She was born January 5th, 2015 at 5:17pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, is 21 inches long and has already won over all of our hearts.
I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember, the day I was going to meet my little girl. A friend recently told me how magical today was going to be because it’s the day I would meet my best friend. I can’t even begin to tell you how it felt to hold her in my arms for the very first time. Mommy, Daddy and big brother Cam love you so much already, Brooklyn!

Um, yeah, they're in love and it's freaking adorable. Last July, Nick and Vanessa revealed they were pregnant and giving their firstborn Camden John a little sister. Now, she's here and seems to fit right in with The Lacheys.
