Gigi's Stuns (and Designs!) in New Guess Ads

Guess has got it's quintessential California girl, and one who can fuse the beach aesthetic with high fashion. Gigi Hadid posed topless for Guess's spring/summer 2015 campaign, and I think it's safe to say the up-and-coming model's popularity is only going to continue to grow. 2014 may have been about Kendall, but 2015 is shaping up to be Gigi's year.

Designer Paul Marciano shared a preview of Gigi's campaign on his Instagram, and from the early images, Hadid looks (obviously) amazing. The blonde beauty posed in a body-hugging knitted, sheer dress, as well as topless in a pair of floral jeans, and she makes the whole "sexy cool" thing just the understatement of the century. With minimal makeup and her thick, blonde hair flowing loosely around her shoulders, the young model is the epitome of the California girl with a fusion of her high fashion editorial experience. The images almost feel like I'm looking at a young Gisele Bundchen — and to that point, Gigi has been shooting for Victoria's Secret, so obviously the industry must see the same.

But the ads aren't the only buzzworthy thing about the new season collection — Hadid revealed on Instagram that the denim she's wearing is custom, so it looks like she may be able to add "designer" to her name as well.
