Bruno's Trying Out a New 'Do

by Olivia Muenter

In the land of celebrities, and especially that of pop stars in particular, it's pretty hard to create something that's shocking when it comes to style and fashion. Unless you're Lady Gaga, it's going to be pretty difficult to put together a look that makes people significantly confused; we've kind of seen it all at this point. But on the season finale of The Voice, one star definitely tried his hardest to make us all do a double take. And well, it worked. Bruno Mars wore hot rollers in his hair as he took the stage on Tuesday night. Because, you know, why not?

Apparently, the unique hair accessory choice wasn't completely random. As you can see proudly displayed on Mars' recent Instagram post, there's at least one hot curler scene in the video for the song "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson, which features Mars. Still, that's just a music video and as we all have learned by now, pretty much anything goes in music videos. But I suppose Mars thought, "Well, why not make this performance on The Voice just as theatrical as a music video? Or, at the very least, why don't I just keep the rollers in?" And then it just happened.

In case you're curious what the entire thing actually looked like; don't worry, the fine people of Twitter have provided us with plenty of evidence:

Make of it what you will, but as you can see, it's certainly an interesting 'do.
