'The Little Prince' Trailer Is So Beautiful
Paddington Bear isn't the only beloved children's book that's coming to life on the big screen. Next up? The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Although the book itself is only 80 pages long, it's lived on in the imagination of everyone who read it as a child (or even as an adult), so the movie has a lot to live up to. But now that the official The Little Prince French trailer has arrived, I can confirm that the film is going to be just as beautiful as the book. Of course, if you're not quite fluent in French, there's an English version coming, too.
And although the English version will be populated by a voice cast that includes James Franco, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, and Jeff Bridges, the French trailer shows off what we can expect from the movie — and it's better than I could've imagined. It will feature the original artwork from the book, as well as a new, never been told story involving The Little Prince, and I can't wait to see more... and, you know, in a language I actually understand.
Check out the trailer below, and if you want to cry, I totally won't blame you. The film hits theaters on October 7, 2015 in France, and the English release date has yet to be announced.
